Social Media & Content Specialist Location: Seattle, Hybrid Reports to: Senior Creative Manager Status: Salary-Exempt Supervises: No Revision: 04.24.2025 Career Track: Individual Contributor, Level 1 Salary: $64 - $78 Job Overview: Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, this role will be responsible for creating engaging multimedia content for social media, Shopify website, and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in content planning/ execution, copywriting, and design, and is expected to engage with audiences while maintaining a clear brand voice and perspective. They will work closely with the marketing team to plan content that aligns with overall marketing strategies which increase brand awareness for our b2b business.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Content Planning — Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with broader business objectives. Contribute to planning with an emphasis on innovative and trend-responsive ideas with a forward-thinking focus. Content planning should also demonstrate a passion for material that informs, inspires, and drives positive change, aligning with our company’s mission and values.
Repurposing Content Creation — Utilize an existing library of videos, images, and other assets to identify opportunities for reuse in fresh and engaging formats. Should be proficient in video editing techniques and able to reformat for multiple use cases; problem-solving for education, inspiration, and sales-driven solutions.
Net-New Content Creation — Capture, build, and edit content taken personally or from sources in the field that align with the brand voice, tone, and goals of our business. Execution should be driven by creative market trends and the ideal candidate should be comfortable trying new tools, platforms, and tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
Marketing Support / Storytelling — Offer support for additional storytelling and assets for campaigns, website, and digital platform developments. Should be comfortable speaking to social impact and evolving values around BCorp, sustainability, women-owned business, education, and inclusivity.
Content Execution & Engagement — Manage posting schedules and ensure timely publishing across platforms. Maintain engagement with audiences; commenting, messaging, and reposting under a clear brand voice and perspective. Make continuous efforts to understand key audiences and accounts within the commercial furniture industry.
Reporting and Insights — Assist in tracking and reporting on content campaign performance and extract data from multiple marketing systems to support further analysis and planning. Should be comfortable gathering data and sharing findings/ ideas for continued growth.
